The Root of Identity

ORMR uses deterministic key derivation. Your 16-word Seed Phrase is the master key from which your Network ID, encryption keys, and Monero wallet are all mathematically generated.

Absolute Responsibility

Because there are no central servers, there is no "Forgot Password" button. If you lose your seed, you lose your identity, your messages, and your funds forever.

Safety Protocols

• 📑 Physical Backup: Write it on paper. Store it in a safe.
• 📵 Zero Digitality: Never take a screenshot or save it in a notes app.
• 🤫 Strict Privacy: Never share it. No admin will ever ask for it.

Use the Create New flow to initialize a resource share or post a local workshop. Every contribution strengthens the neighborhood reciprocity network.

Encrypted Pulses

Direct and Group Chats are sharded across the mesh. Communication leverages a hybrid relay system for localized delivery.

Handshake Verification

Establish secure channels via ephemeral QR Handshakes. Manual verification ensures identity without central authorities.

The Encrypted Vault

Sensitive notes and keys are secured via Seed-Derived Stateless Encryption. Data remains hardware-encrypted and never leaves your device unshielded.

The Transit Wallet Strategy

The integrated Monero (XMR) wallet is designed for immediate community trade. Because mobile hardware is susceptible to physical damage, we recommend a Transit Architecture for fund security.

• 🛡️ Cold Reservoir: Keep your main savings in a primary cold-storage or secure desktop wallet.
• ⚡ Transit Mode: Treat ORMR as a transit point. Transfer only the funds required for upcoming community interactions.
• 🔄 Safe Sweeping: Periodically sweep excess reciprocity earnings back to your primary reservoir to minimize mobile exposure.

Trust & Reputation

Build trust through decentralized reviews and reactions. Your Neighbor Profile reflects your reciprocity within the local mesh.

Node Privacy

Total control over your digital footprint. Toggle Anonymous Browsing or activate the Sovereign Radio Node for direct mesh synchronization.

Off-Grid Expansion

Expand the neighborhood even without an internet connection. ORMR includes a built-in Local APK Server for direct peer-to-peer app distribution.

Where to access:

Navigate to your Neighbor Profile and tap the Share Icon (📤) in the top action bar. This initializes the propagation sequence.

The Two-Step Handshake

• 📡 Step 1: Hotspot Link: Your device creates a temporary encrypted WiFi hotspot. The recipient scans the first QR to connect instantly.
• 📥 Step 2: Direct Download: Once connected, the recipient scans the second QR. Your device serves the ORMR installer directly over the local link.
